TASB’s OnSite Energy Services Program offers:

• Compliance with procurement laws and statutes. We manage the bid process on your behalf by securing your pricing from the wholesale electricity marketplace. Our process is designed to satisfy compliance with procurement procedures while saving you the time and money associated with managing the bidding process on your own.
   
• Contract terms in compliance with local government laws. TASB negotiated billing and payment terms to ensure that the contract complies with laws affecting independent school districts.
   
• Dedicated TASB Account Executives. Your account will be serviced by TASB staff, a Direct Energy Business account executive and a dedicated Direct Energy Business Customer Care team. We make it easy to manage your account change requests and other service-related issues and questions.
   
• No monthly meter charges. This benefit results in monthly cost savings per meter in comparison with typical service contracts.
   
• Unlimited usage swing for your contracted meters. Unlike many contracts, we don’t penalize you with fees for exceeding or falling short of your projected electricity usage for your contracted meters.
   
• Option to join a buying pool. You can register for our program independently, or join other members in an electricity purchasing pool for even stronger buying power and administrative efficiencies. TASB further supports its members with a transparent participation fee structure, so you can effectively track your total procurement costs and lower expected spend over time.
  
• Sophisticated technology support. You will be connected to the tools you need to make the right energy decisions and to manage your energy spend.
   
  PowerBuy^®: a patented, online event platform used to procure power in real-time directly from the wholesale market. You will be able to view from your secure PowerBuy homepage and watch wholesalers compete for and bid on your load during scheduled PowerBuy events.
   
  InvoiceASSURE: an internet-based utility invoice and data management system that validates utility bills and identifies any potential errors, digitizes and organizes current and historical invoice data, generates energy usage trend charts, tracks energy management and conservation efforts, creates and tracks budget targets, and allows you to determine and track your carbon footprint.
