FAQs for Direct Energy Business Customers
Welcome to Direct Energy Business. As Direct Energy and Strategic Energy combine operations, you will notice a new look on your customer communications and other enhancements to your customer service experience.
Will this change affect my service or contract?
No. We will continue to serve you through your current contract term with the product and rate structure that you selected at contract signing. In fact, as part of our combination effort, we are exploring new ways to enhance your experience with superior service.
If you are considering a supplier change, please review the provisions of your contract for terms and conditions of early termination.
*Will this change affect my billing processes?
For now, your billing process will remain the same. However, your bill may have a new look and format, and we ask that you make payments payable to Direct Energy Business beginning on September 1, 2008 and until further notice.
- Direct Energy customers will see a new format in their bills. We will send you a guide to reading your new bill. As always, you can contact us with any questions at 1-888-925-9115.
- Strategic Energy customers will continue to be served by the same service team. Your bill will now feature the Direct Energy Business logo, but the format will remain the same.
*To whom should I make my payment available? Where should I send my payment?
Beginning on September 1, 2008, please make your payments to Direct Energy Business. You can send your payment to the address provided on the remittance slip of your monthly bill.
*Can I continue to make online or electronic payments?
Yes. Until you receive further notice, you can make electronic payments just as you do now.
Can I continue to use your online customer services?
Yes. You will continue to use and have access to the current web-based and online services you are using today. We are continually accessing our online services for enhancements and improvements to better serve you.
