Direct Energy Business Offers Ontario Businesses Free Green Power for Earth Day
From now until April 9, 2010, any Ontario business that signs a new electricity contract with us for a 1-year minimum term will receive free renewable energy attributes to cover their energy usage on Earth Day, Thursday, April 22, 2010. Our renewable energy attributes, which come from EcoLogo-Certified Renewable Power, represent the properties of electricity generated from certified renewable power sources. These renewable attributes help offset the carbon emissions that would normally result from the use of electricity generated from conventional, coal-fired sources. They also demonstrate corporate sustainability and environmental responsibility. Consider going green for Earth Day.

The timing of this important new green initiative is ideal as The Royal welcomed Prince Charles, an environmental champion, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, to officially open the 2009 Royal. The Royal was held Nov. 6-15 at Exhibition Place in Toronto.
